The perfect match to our location in the old boiler house is of course the Augsburg Museum of Technology and Industry (TIM) which is only 20 metres away from our hotel. Short and to the point this is where you can marvel at the "four M's": man-machine-pattern fashion.

Augsburg is one of the oldest cities in Bavaria which is why you can discover both a beautiful city centre and some historical sights. 
Real classics and must-sees of the city are of course the famous "Augsburger Puppenkiste" as well as the centuries-old Perlachturm and the social settlement (called Fuggerei). An annual rent of 88 cents doesn't really sound credible? In the Fuggerei it is still a reality today.

Different stylistic epochs make the city's buildings something very special and surprise both business travellers and genuine holidaymakers. Maximilianstraße is one of the most important streets in southern Germany from an art-historical point of view - you should definitely have seen it once. 

In addition to the history the botanical gardens, several leisure parks, a bathing park, the Augsburg Zoo and many culinary surprises await you.
