Really beautiful here
City of Golden Bridges
Budapest is cosmopolitan, elegant, lively - and simply fascinating. Nine bridges over the Danube River connect the two former cities of Buda and Pest, from which Budapest, Hungary's capital, emerged in 1873. The 19th century Chain Bridge is world famous, illuminated at night with a magical golden light.
The hillside Buda district is famous for its Turkish baths and the historical castle quarter's cobblestone alleys. In the lowlands of Pest, where our hotel welcomes you, the life of a cosmopolitan city pulsates. It is home to the grand opera house, the magnificent dome of the Basilica, numerous museums, the entertainment district and countless other.
The Paris of the East
A cable car will take you to Buda's old town located on the castle hill, where the Historical Museum exhibits life during the Roman period. The walk up the castle hill, with its historic castle quarter and majestic castle , is almost a must. You can also enjoy breathtaking views from the Matthias Church built in the 13th century and the Towers of the Fishermen's Bastion located on Trinity Square. Returning to the bottom, you can visit, for example, the Parliament Building, the Hungarian National Museum, the large Market Hall, the National Gallery or the Fisherman's Bastion.
Café Gerbeaud invite you to linger. At dusk, when Budapest's nightlife begins, you'll experience how the city exudes its charm, in a completely new way.
The day after, a visit to one of the numerous spas and thermal baths will make you feel really amazing. A trip into the Puszta, towards the great Lake Balaton, opens the view to Hungary's wide and endless expanses.
