Mannheim, March 2021. After relaunching their brand in 2020, the journey continues: ACHAT Hotels are now rolling out their design in individual properties. In the group’s first hotels, model rooms are already displaying a new interior design setup. Hotel designer Claudia Löhr, founder and owner of Greta Irmél, has transferred ACHAT Hotels’ new brand strategy from paper to the world of space with great sensitivity and intuition. During the rollout of ACHAT Hotels’ redesign in rooms and public areas of all 35 locations, one thing, in particular, is crucial to designer Claudia Löhr. “The guests in all their versatility and diversity should feel they are in good hands with us.” Each ACHAT Hotel is transformed into a place beyond what you’d expect from a hotel through a high level of customized design. “However, the character of the hotels is not something we are changing. This remains the same,” explains Philipp v. Bodman, Managing Partner of ACHAT Hotels.
Hotel Becomes Experience Zone
Streamlined design standards with individual styling elements create hotel rooms that welcome the guest’s uniqueness through the unique character of the furnishings. This is how unforgettable “ACHAT moments” are created. As a central element of the new brand concept, these ACHAT moments offer guests an ever-changing, surprisingly positive quality of experience. Visiting the new “experience zones” is intended to whet your appetite, for example, for a chat with your best friend in the lounge, lively networking in the co-working space, or simply updating your social media status in a relaxed atmosphere in your room.
Hotel Character Remains
When redesigning their hotels, ACHAT Hotels pay special attention to maintaining the individual characteristics of each property. “Because we’re not interfering with the building’s structure, each property can and should retain its character,” explains designer Löhr. “The challenge is to combine uniqueness with the global design concept in a manner that every guest will recognize immediately: I’m in an ACHAT Hotel”. The design rollout will soon take place in several of ACHAT Hotels’ rooms and public areas. This means even more guests will soon be able to enjoy the new brand spirit based on the slogan “Real.Amazing.”.
